As of 1pm it was business as usual on I-70 west of st Louis. But I'm driving thru the night tonight into Illinois up to Chicago. Taking 55 to 72 to 57. Hope it's quiet.
Sent from somewhere out there on the road.

I had a guy call me saying they were set up on 295 in Jersey right there at that scale after Del Mem Bridge.
-
Exit 16 on 95 South out of Maryland..... DOT is routing all trucks to a high school football field. Info from a carrier who ia there
-
new mexico westbound 40 from texas was busier then normal.
-
Cambridge scales on 70 west was absolutely stuffed woth trucks...eastbound was closed tho....in ohio
-
I-40 WB MP 184 (Bellmont Arizona) the closed rest area has 2 portable scales they have lights set up. Probably 24/7.
-
I15 in Nevada and Cali. Is quiet today. Check station northbound into Vegas is closed. Kinda strange!
-
Nothing on US97 in Oregon, scales were closed, kinda crazy because they are open every week going thru there. I-5 in Northen California, nothing. Dunsmuir scale open as always, no roadside checks.
-
I 95 in NC mostly dead..the 2 northbound scales no inspections at all,saw one car and a truck being looked over on
The SB scale just outside Lumberton...
VA,US 58/13 southwest of Norfolk, dead on both sides.
The scale on US 13 on the Delmarva, interesting, saw a few officers just hanging out outside the scalehouse
looking like they were just about to go home,no activity either side
MD scale on US 13,closed(but noticed a container OOS on the southbound side.
I anticipate the scales WB on I 70 in MD east of Baltimore to be extremely busy,as MD has been inspecting heavy
as it is the past few yeasr(drivers, make sure you have load locks and straps securing loads in MD,they really check
this here, our cargo related area sucks because of a douchbag who got 5 violations involving this, including an
Unsecured load on a hazmat load and other things)
I also anticipate many check points in PA on I 70(the rest area and the Breezewood enterence/exit to the PA
TPK)and the PA TPKe at the service areas, and random pull overs(probably the same deal in Ohio as well, though
the last time I went through Ohio at this time 2 years ago every scale was closed and saw zero activity) -
0100 EDT - I95N and I95S at mm5 in ME (POE) both open, pulling all commercial traffic in. Inspections in progress on multiple trucks. Noted a wrecker hooking up to one of them.
