There are 2 Americold facilities right in the same industrial park. You are most likely going to westgate. Drive past the westgate facility and the street loops back around to the main hwy again. Before you get to the main hwy again you will go over some tracks and come to the entrance of the 2nd facility. Pass the entrance gate and the next rd to the right is a culdesac. You can park there overnight.

looking on the map i guessing you mean john f Varley ct sw, tho it looks like its an entrance to two other facilities..... dont think they'd be happy if I parked there ^.^Last edited: Jun 6, 2012

I know where he's talking about, and yes, that cul de sac is OK to park in. I parked there overnight when I went to that facility last year. Americold employees or the guard told me I could park there.

dont say it too loud or it might get crowded by the time I get there! lol
thanks
I hate night deliveries... im one of those people that like once 7pm hits im like trying to find a place to stop cause I dont want to be searching for one when its dark lol.... guess thats why I wake my ### up so early, so im done driving in the afternoon and dont have to worry about it -
curious why if we deliever to the same places all the time why cant they give us accurate addresses and to include zip codes. i can see if it is a new shipper/reciever but not ones that may has had for years. it is like in Ne Sapps fuel on 80. come on why is that still fubared. DM's should be squared away and help the drivers not sit there and say i am confused when you tell them something. If a driver says i cant make the appointment dont tell him he is wrong. DM's are out for themselves. There is no reason for drivers to sit so long before you get a preplan. We give pta, deliever on time, etc. Planners should be a few steps ahead not behind. It cost the company money and the drivers as well. Drivers work 24/7 but yet night dispatch, breakdown it is like pulling teeth to get something done.

Welcome to the May way. I have been preaching that forever but justawheelholder seems to think I am the only one who sees this breakdown and just complains., rather who identified this issue long ago. I put up with a lot but getting screwed as a experienced driver now that's never late, runs hard, and legal and professional inside and out and pride in my work. Those qualities are not required here.

hope you had better luck then Idid at that facility I did manage to get parked there but it took me a while to get parallel parked in the dark lucky another may driver saw me struggling and got out to help ! who ever you are thankyou ! oh I repowered his load from mounteagle ,tn

yeah i got there and the straight away was full, there was one guy in the curved part, on the left when you drove in, so I went down the hill, turned around and parked on the right side, took me a little wiggling to make sure I was as close to the curb as I could get but i was ok. there was another may truck parked right in front of me

Okay, got one week of school left and have decided to make May my place of employment. I've been following this thread as well as others and have come to the conclusion that most everyone for the most part is happy with May. I hope to start orientation on the 18th. I hope to meet some of you as well. Sounds as if I might never get to meet Joker though. I drove OTR 26 years ago and then hired on with King Stupids (as it has been referred to here) and retired in April. I haven't been able to find any other job other than a part time one and that doesn't help pay the bills so have decided to give the OTR thing a try again. Mama is okay with it but I will see how she feels about it in a few months. I'm gonna be based out of the Denver terminal. Sounds as if some of you are trainers. Maybe I will get lucky enough to hook up with one of you.
Just wanted to introduce myself!!!
Keep the shiny side up and the greasy side down!!! -
