Hi I'm new to this, so please bare with me. I have just left Tradewinds/Bakers Corner. This is what they have done to me I will put my name with this. It's Crystal G. I won't say anything here I haven't already said in emails or phone conversations with those idiots. If I can copy paste the emails on here I will. The boyfriend and I started driving teams for them, we talked about all the deductions they were going to take out. Kevin said ok I don't see how a single driver would make it but teams should run enough miles to where one of us should have a clear check. WRONG THE MORE YOU MAKE THE MORE HIDDEN DEDUCTION THEY FIND. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office. I would hope that everybody else that they have ripped off will do the same. It's up to us to put them out of business. I would love for about 50 of us get together and picket there driveway for all the next poor souls. Its funny how in orientation they forgot to tell us they are on a no cash list at Walmart. I have also tried to call dispatch for a couple of day at a time and can't get a hold of them but it only took me not returning Wess Ch phone calls a couple of hours before he shut off my fuel card. I sent an email stating I was going home to rethink my options. He states with this lease purchase we couldn't afford to take time off. I didn't return his calls the next day WHEN HE WANTED ME TO so he then processed to threaten me with he is going to put a hold on my check until I call him! That didn't even upset me because I knew they don't pay anyway! What sent me over the edge was he threaten me with the police!!! Stating he(WES) was going to report the truck stolen! after one day of not working. I went through the roof. I sent an email stating what check! They planned on keeping all the money anyway and as for calling the police please do!!! I have receipts showing payments and a contract! Another issue is their phones are always down. I have all emails showing that. They told me I would get direct deposit instead they wired the money to my account like western union. That was the first 855.36.00. I have a check stub showing gross was 4840.33 deductions was 2776.30 deposit should have been 2064.03 when I called her (Jacki) and pointed this out she stated oh we're taken that for fuel.Then on top of that we were told we would get 100 % of a load and they still took that . Although let's be fair I was told I would get the 300.00ish on next check. Which they will keep also. I estimate I have made close to 14,000 dollars in threeweeks and was only paid $855.36. Tradewinds blamed their bank, stating their bank was having transferring issues. When speaking with their bank they have stated they have no issue with transferring funds. I hope that this helps the next person. I did try to research them but they have changed names so many times a person can't get the information. I will become an owner op but not with them. I don't see how they expect a person to return the equipment when they don't pay you for working and then shut off the fuel cards. Everybody do your part and file a complaint with Indiana's Attorney General Consumers Complaint Department, and lets try to do a Class action suit it only takes 6 people. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

 

You started that thread over a month ago. With hundreds of posts a day not everything stays up front. Click on your name and "view forum posts" and you will find it.

Try typing in "Hoosier Tradewinds" or "Tradewinds". I found it no problem. If you ain't running around in anger you would find the forum was doing an upgrade.

 

That would be great I have told a few people on here we would love to take them to court then it all falls through.

I can't set and read all day. I have a email of baddogtrucker@gmail.com is that a good one. I have went to OOIDA and talked to them yesterday. I told them the new name Bakers Corner. The guy I spoke with was working on something to do with them. I have emails from a Matthew Deck. Who is this idiot. I told them I was going to run the truck through a friend that was a broker. That sent their underware in a bunch. He sent a driver down yesterday (I seen the driver and spoke with him. He said he was here to pick up a load) The spinless piece of work flatten the trucks tire and put a lock on the glad hands. I just need to fight this, so they can't keep doing this. Everytime we call OOIDA all they say is good ole tradewinds again? They have done NOTHING! you as a O/O have a right to refuse loads and what they did was federal time to your vehicle. They wont send receipts of these supposely repairs on the truck or any other required documents. Jim flat out said I dont have time and NO. So ...I guess they will have to be subpoena. We lost 6000.00 dollars never paid us and if they did it was 80 or 50 dollars if they didnt stop payment on that. Ran 3000 and made 80. One of the few so-so checks made. They never sent any receipts for these so called repairs and kept all maint and performance bonds.

 

Guess what! Tradewinds got a new name BAKERS CORNER TRANSPORTATION! Yes you got it thats the new name registered with DOT# 2141960. Their safety record so bad I guess DOT shutting them down. Cant find any drivers either look at tradewinds violations on the safer web over 10 accounts where drivers didnt have a CDL. So if you want to drive a truck and never get paid you can drive for bakers corner and not even have a cdl.

 

To whomever wants to recover from Hoosiers Tradewinds this is former Inthepoorhouse, Now I use poorhouse, I'm NOT GOING AWAY from this problem!!! I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General, and I have now contacted the local news in Indy, it is rtv6 consumer help. We have to stick together I can't do this by myself. I have one person on here that we talk and we are doing what we feel needs to be done. The news will listen to ten or twenty people faster then just one. I gave this website and rippoffreport with hope that they (rtv6) look at all the complaints. Please feel free to get in contact with the station. Hoosiers Tradewinds at it again, This Jim H. I don't even know who that is has sent me a bill for the truck that they flatten the tire on and locked the trailer. They can't return peoples money in a timely matter but it only takes days to run a huge bill up on the drivers. He states he's taking me to and and knows I won't be there so they will get the judgement. WRONG I have contacted an attorney. I would like to know how many other people on here he has taken to court, and if I can get statements from you all. The attorney I spoke with stated he has had five people call him in the last couple of months. The only way that company is going to change is when they are held accountable or put out of business!

 

I have been in this industry for many years, and am a respectable person who just does that right thing in life. I leased my truck on with Hoosier for 2 months in 2005; and this has to be the most dishonorable group of Christians that I have ever encountered!

I suspect that they will travel south upon their departure!!!
