    Really?

You have been there a month, you have not proven to be a worth while driver yet.
Give it time. Several months would be preferable.
Your still in your probationary period.

    Cash33 Thanks this.

    So they are paying you .52 cents a mile? 2500miles x $.52 = $1300

    Think they embellished a bit.

Cash33, You can take whatever the recruiter or company tells you with a grain of salt. Their words mean absolutely nothing! Unless you have something in writing or a collective bargaining agreement (union), it is in your best intrest to disregard anything that comes out of their mouths. Good luck and do your homework.

I would say a month tops, however I am not privy to the type of business your doing. Is it a slow time of year, or off season. If that is the case I would tell them your looking for something else until business picks up.

when i have a problem i keep moving up the food chain past my manager until there is a resolution. I kept getting pat answers as i sat at Supervalu in Denver Pa on 45 cases of OJ. 12 hours later I said this overage is going in the dumpster and I am driving the truck to Nh to see my youngest graduate HS. Minutes later the bosses started calling and I got a days pay for hanging around waiting, more money for unloading the Oj at a food bank and 50 gallons of fuel to get home because of course I had lost my load heading to NH while waiting
They did know more then what was the next right thing but the next right thing isn't industry standard

He said with stop and layover pay it would equal up to $1300, so I doubt $0.52 per mile.

No they are paying me .40 per mile with 2500 miles that's a $1000 plus with stop pay and layover pay it would equal the $1300
