cali....guess im a douche -
There's a Walmart up on the north end of town you can park at if that little truckstop gets too small for ya.
Would have waved when I went by awhile back, but decided to stay on the throughway instead of running I90 past the ex-rest area, now bear trap.
Got one wave through this time at the Mass POE the other night - ignored by bears otherwise. Like it should be! Rest area on the NYS throughway, 20-ish miles east of Syracuse NY. -
Green lights and closed scales all around for me.
I even played with fire. Last load was scaled out at 79,890. 34,200 on the tandems in the 12th. Kraft load from Groveport OH to South Boston VA. I mention Dollar General last week and I suddenly have a load there this week.
Dollar General in South Boston wasnt all that bad... especially with a decent sized truckstop practically across the street.
Dropped my trailer at Lumber Liquidators in Hampton. I knew about the one up near New Kent, but wasnt aware of one in Hampton. After getting so used to Kraft in Richmond, these days its a toss up where they will send me to drop an empty for hometime.
Im off for a wedding this weekend. -
I knew about the Lumber Liquidators in Hampton, but not the one in New Kent... *opens new tab to google maps*
I prefer dropping at that Kraft because it's only about 30 miles from my house, and I used to work right around the corner. (Napa on Williamsburg Rd) but last time they sent me out to Smithfield to drop the empty.
