Are you here in Lexington? If you see a guy with long hair and a black ball cap, that's me.

Yup. got here around 3pm. Have a heck of a headache right now from riding the bus today. Actually, had it since yesterday. Must be stress! Wonder why? LOL They actually gave me a 2012 prostar. What were they thinking? I was told when I got here that no, they do not have a partner for me right now. I wonder how long it's going to be...I don't want to be solo for 2 months and then they say I have to team. Anyway, got all my stuff put away, made my bed and am enjoying a lovely dinnerof tuna & cheetos (haha, not!) before heading to the shower and an early date with mr. bunk tonite.

I took a look in one of the ProStars when I was in Jacksonville. I couldn't imagine teaming in that thing. It had no cabinets.

I won't be teaming in this one. Seems I have so many restrictions (n/s female, if u call that too many) that they can't find me a partner. So I'm solo until they do. I've had a couple females say they want to team up, but then they say they can't drive at night or in bad weather. Um, no thanks.

Don't think of them as restrictions Rebel, think of them as standards.. Its like a relationship.. U gotta have em or u will settle for anything.. Good things come to those who wait.. U are gonna get a great partner and u guys will be inseperable ( Except for Home Time ).. Lol.. Good luck though.. Look forward to reading more from u guys as always..

I sure hope so! As for being inseparable, probably not. After about 15 days, I tend to want my own space. And most people get on my nerves!:biggrin_2556:
Not that I'm difficult or anything.:biggrin_25521:

    Hello There.

    Nothing like home time...........aaahhhhh.

Rolled into Ellenwood, GA terminal late Saturday morning, 3 days late for my time off. Mostly my doing. I picked up a load in Newberry, SC bound for Mt. Vernon, IL that was supposed to be repowered. It turned out USX had trouble chasing one down. So I volunteered to haul the load into IL, provided they get me right back as the clock was ticking on my Med. Cert. It was a good run (665 mi).

The back haul was a load of flour from Conagra in Alton, IL headed to Tampa, FL. This time the repower was set up ahead of time, and I met the relay tractor at our terminal in Tunnel Hill, GA. I would have liked all 1120 miles of that one, but getting the physical done is a high priority item.

So putting in the 2 extra days added another 1200 + miles to the total for next week.

Last week: 1504 miles, caused by not getting a 514 mile trip scanned in time due to a delay at the receiver.

I've been talking to other USX drivers about "in-cab" scanning of trip sheets. It would help getting those last minute sheets scanned in before the pay-day cut off.

    DOT Physical:

Went up to USX in Tunnel Hill to renew my medical certificate, and everything was going fine until the PA noticed that I use a CPAP. She looked through my supporting documentation and said "You need to update your doctors letter for your CPAP every year. You need to get that done." :biggrin_2556:

So I left with half of my physical done, put a call in to my doctor in hopes of getting in to see him ASAP, and, acquiring said needed document. Going in to see the doc tomorrow @ 1000, and then back up to Tunnel Hill on Wednesday morning to finish up my physical.

I'll update in a couple days.

    Thanks for reading.
