Heart valve problem

    Question for you truckers with experience in this area. The husband of my niece may have to have a valve fixed in his heart. Would something like this cause him to loose his CDL?

    They'll treat it like bypass surgery and other cardiac problems. He'll lose his medical certification for three months. Then after approval by his cardiologist and successfully passing an ETT (Excercise Tolerance Test) and EKG he'll get a one year certification.

    If he had a Miocardial Infraction in the process he'll get a 6 month certificate.

    Tell him to get well quick!

    Condocruiser is dead on my former boss had a bad valve which didn't surprise me dude was so hyper made me hype being anywhere near him but anyway after his surgery and healing he got his medical card for one year
