Knight drivers....What's your 20?

ok I now think the the AZ shop has no idea what they are doing........So my turbo goes out on my pete and I just happen to be closest to the AZ yard, so i get there write it up and im told it has to go to Cummings and to talk to another guy about a loner. I think his name is jerry or something but the truck im put in is a truck they took out of service and didnt tell anyone well after 12 hours and a missed drop due to not having permit book lucy tells me the story on how it was taken OOS. Im then put in a truck that JUST came out of the shop a volvo. well during the pretrip I notice that have a drive tire is MISSING WTF 0 tread and metal is showing. Taken out of that one and put in another truck to finish the load that is now over a day late. I head out drop and get back to the yard only to be met by a guy who says he is taking that truck and I need to speak to jerry AGAIN about yet another truck.

Well I get another volvo and im in it for a WEEK.....I picked my truck back up yesterday and drove 500ish miles before the dang turbo messed up again. Im not switching trucks this time...moving all my crap so many times last time was enuff for the rest of the year.

Side note, everyone was nice about the whole mix up not bad mouthing Knight just the AZ shop crew and venting a little.

 

Phoenix is the shop that about three or so weeks ago had a Q-Message sent out asking drivers to let them know what they could do to improve customer service. My suggestion was to speed up A and B service. So the next time I go in for a service I see Brad who then tells me my truck is not due at this time and changes the mileage for about 10,000 miles out and sends me on my way. Now that's speedy service.

 

well i hope SLC shop does a better job. I need the turbo fixed and an A service done. The guy who takes the write ups seemed cool, so hopefully I wont be sitting long

 

Sitting at Home. Gotta see the dentist Monday morning about getting my broken tooth repaired. Hoping to get back on the road Monday afternoon. I had a very bad trip out this time in just about every way. Gotta get better I hope.

 

I have had weeks like that where it all goes to the dogs. But all in all I have had good times and easy miles.

IMO SLC is a good shop in and out quickly and requested repairs made.
