Conway Truckload Drivers what is your 20?

Sounds like that bad ### trainer is just plain a bad trainer. He should brag on how many drivers he's trained and are accident free. Now I know why the company spends so much money on recruiting. That "Bad ###" trainer runs them off. As far as people talking so loud. I've' learned the louder they are the bigger the lies.
Did you all get to switching over to company yer?

 

Tomorrow we switch over, the guy says that the last driver he was training kept calling his wife everytime they stopped somewhere and he told him to quit calling so the trainee asked to be brought to Joplin because he was done and then reported him. I just really dislike people like him, makes Conway trainers/drivers/ and company look bad

 

That so called trainer would really hard me because I call my wife several times a day. Communication is how marriages stay together. It's hard enough being away from family as it is. I thank the Lord for cell phones and unlimited minutes. I will be the first to say there's no way I could have been a driver 10 years ago.

 

Sitting in Dekalb, IL waiting for our customer to open for receiving in 30 mins.
Then we have to pick up a relay at the CWF in Chicago @ 2AM, deliver it @ 6AM like 40 miles away
After that we P/U another load @ 10AM sending us back to Laredo.

 

I like bad trainers ...that run their mouths while wearing black knee-high socks with their sandals!

 

Actually, at one time we had one person, her full time job was getting directions.It's just a peeve of mine.

 

People like him, i have no problem dropping the dime on.I typically keep to myself, really can't stand the know it all or whiningn-complaining truck driver.They are the reason I dont sit at the counter, hang around the terminals, or sport company wears.Any of the above seem to be a invitaion to yack, and typically turns negative.Too old, tired, and set in my ways to put up with, or listen to it.

 

Hanging out at Bill's truck stop in North Carolina.Should take a nap, but all jacked up on coffee.Old time place, family run, good basic eats.Nice folks, I still like it when the waitress says sweety or honey.Automatic 20% tip.

Chillin at the Holiday Inn !!! LOL Went to get our truck and we find out that there are NONE!!! Number 15 on the list, Nathan at the shop said it's looking like it might be 2-3 days min. LOVELY a whole crap load of trucks but those are all reserved for Teams and only my husband drives. So its a waiting game !!!
