We escaped from Covenant. Boy do they have hooks in the drivers pocketbooks. Our Dispacer was Eddie Lyons, really enjpyed working with him. It was the weekend crew that really liked to throw a monkeywrench in our runs.
Attention all company drivers!!!

I think all the companies have issues... but I simply think that they dont get it! while the military is on the frontline keeping us safe, we are behind the scenes keeping it going! like the military.. no truckers... no life! I dont get how companies like Covenant say they commit to care then rob the drivers of simple Human dignity! and pay and what ever then can and get away with!

All of society is ruined, partly because men have allowed themselves to be emasculated; the marketplace, schools and business world are filled with butchy and b!tchy women (not all, of course), perverts and subversives have taken over the schools and universities and children are fat, lazy, disrespectful and ignorant. (These are generalizations)
Hmmm. I, too, am getting back into the big-truck scene, after 14 years off. I don't have a driving job yet, but I can see that some things haven't changed and some things are worse. More rules and regulations from and legal theft by Big Brother, dissatisfied and victimized drivers, companies doing what they can to maximize their bottom line... In spite of it all, I'm looking forward to life on the road.AfterShock Thanks this. -
New here. If I post, and badmouth a company I no longer intend to work for, what can happen? I mean...its not against the law to let people know what companies are doing right? Freedom of Speech and all? i understand if im still employed by a comp that im bashing here, would be like opening a can of worms...if it came back to me by using tracter num, etc....good tips by the way...... but seriously, is the FBI going to bash in my door..........

If you work for a man, in heaven's name work for him.
If he pays you wages that supply you your bread and butter, work for him -- speak well of him, think well of him, stand by him and stand by the institution he represents.
I think if I worked for a man, I would work for him. I would not work for him a part of the time, and the rest of the time work against him. I would give an undivided service or none. If put to the pinch, an ounce of loyalty is worth a pound of cleverness.
If you must vilify, condemn and eternally disparage, why, resign your position, and then when you are outside, #### to your heart's content. But I pray you, as long as you are a part of an institution, do not condemn it. Not that you will injure the institution -- not that -- but when you disparage a concern of which you are a part, you disparage yourself.
More than that, you are loosening the tendrils that hold you to the institution, and the first high wind that happens along, you will be uprooted and blown away in the blizzard's track -- and probably you will never know why - - - Get Out or Get in LineJiujitsuTrucker and .5 Past Twelve Thank this. -
