We haven't noticed any increase in inspections. Must be having good luck.

Level III today, at I-25 and CO-105 (just one exit south of the coops in Monument). They had portables set up in order to catch drivers who were trying to bypass the scale. They got Level 2s. My delivery was in the housing development 1/2 mile east of the exit ramp, so they didn't hound me too badly.

That happened to me once,I had a delivery in Ga off of I 20 WB just before the scales(Augusta)
apparently the route that I had to take was very popular for truckers to bypass the scales.
Right before the warehouse I was going to I saw 3 or 4 cars and portable scales set up litterally in the driveway
of this warehouse(had a huge parking lot to do many inspections at once).I was stopped and they asked where I was
headed so I pointed to the building, all they did was ask for my BOL and log book(to make sure I was actually headed
there and to just see if I was current for the day),officer told the other officers I was good and I was on my way.
Oddly enough there was a major issue where they could not unload me that day(we haul our own product
and we get paid if this happens)as somebody in the warehouse goofed and scheduled the appointment for the
next day,so I was told drop the trailer at the door and come back in the morning,so the offiers were surprised
to see me bobtail out, told them scheduling snafu,I was done for the day.Ended up meeting one of the guys
at the Powerhouse gym later that day that I went to to work out and shower.

Seen a few pulled over on Baptist road thru out last week. I guess they thought if they went down one more they would be ok.
