I used to like those loads outta Liberal KS as there used to be a nice diner there with the best Butterscotch pie ever!

for those of you wandering about the physical do this go see your doctor and have him do a dot physical before you go to central. this way if there is a problem you can try and correct it before you go. i did this before i went cause i didn't want any surprises.

 

that was national beef in liberal ks. i dont remember there being a cargill there. but in dodge city ks there is both national beef and cargill.

 

thats one of those rookie mistakes . dont beat yourself up too much over it we all did this at one time or another. theres a lot going on right now and your pumped about being on your own soon everyting will settle down and the mistakes will become fewer . the first six months will be a real learing experance for sure. if in doubt about anything ask before acting. we are all here to help.

 

there wasn't a note on the load info about the 10hr drop dead time, so i dont know anyway i would've known to stay at pilot. I almost pulled out of here at 10, when my 8 was up, but that would've been a rookie mistake, since my 14 would be up 1 hour after my appt at my 99, so i'd probably be stranded. i didnt go on duty, so i'll wait until 12 to do my pti and take off.

I wish i could say this was a rookie mistake and learn from it, but the only thing i learned is that when i go to smithfield call and verify the appt time

 

to the guy with the felony record. get it expunged before even THINKING about applying.

you ALL would be smart to have your criminal records expunged. then you won't have to be sweating bullets about wether your going to pass or not. once it's gone. th ey'll never know.

 

I completely appreciate the advice and consideration- but I also have my doubts that expunging it would keep them from finding out- and I'd rather be honest overall just in case- maybe the wrong choice but I am SO TIRED of dealing with a lot of the completely stupid BS about it....You probably (hopefully) don't understand....I sincerely hope not. I'm a much better person now- a totally different person and my record shows it- and if no one can understand or appreciate that I'm very sorry....If you knew me you'd understand. I was illegally searched- and I'm not excusing myself in any way from the FACT that I WAS guilty, but at the same time that doesn't excuse the government from stomping on my rights or anyone since from being prejudiced against me. Frankly, I'd rather deal with racists, even though I'm mainly white with American Indian mixed in....generally not the target of most racists- It's so incredibly tiresome.... and I'm a frikkin' veteran for crying out loud! Too bad being a volunteer patriot doesn't count for SQUAT anymore-
