Yeah I know what you mean. I had to go in a couple of times to get them back on task.

Drop my load of glass @ West Allis last night. The new lot looks good. They have made a road that will keep us from having to go by the business in fronts lot. The road is still accessed from the same place but it runs along the fence line. I'm sure there will be a fence and gate put up soon. Looks like they just finished black topping the road. Got a load this morning picking up in Richfield going to Walmart DC in Beaver Dam, WI not many miles, but after making the deliver I got a load from Marion, WI going to Clinton, SC. With dead head that is over a 1000 mile run. Staying the night in Richfield and tomorrow night I'll be sleeping in my own bed. Only have 8.5 hours to run tomorrow and that is just enough time to make it to G-town.:biggrin_25519:

Added up my 6 month total of miles which ended on the June 5th. I ran 57,907 miles during that period. Just finishing up on my ten after running all night for Trenton, OH and delivering in Sparta, WI at 7 this morning. Headed over to BRF to pickup a trailer that delivers tomorrow morning in Mn. I'll be back on days starting tomorrow. I just can't sleep during the day. Got an 1.5 hours of sleep today. So I'm going to run the 26 miles to BRF and shut back down and leave out early in the morning.

Hey guys I just put in an application for Millis yesterday. I really hope it all goes well. Millis seems like a pretty good company and I look forward to getting out on the road again. I drove for Schneider about 11 yrs ago and drove for a Dairy pulling a Tanker for a while. I gave up my CDL about 6 yrs ago but now I am itching to get back out there. Hope I get on at Millis and get to meet some of you guys out there. Be safe and hopefully be seeing you.

Which school are you attending? I usually stop in and see the students when I'm at a school. Keep us updated.

Arrived in Eden on Sunday afternoon. Sitting in the dock at Container Warehouse in Ridgeway, VA not sure where I'll be headed next. Ended up with 2800 miles this week, unless I get something out that delivers today. Was able to get some laundry and shopping done yesterday. Have been running a lot of short runs, which isn't bad unless your in the docks loading and unloading and then it kills your 14. Running on re-caps this week and headed home next week. I'm staying out a month this round. Actually more than a month since last scheduled hometime, but I got to spend a weekend home at the first of June. So I'm counting from there. Be safe!

I haven't heard if I have been accepted yet but if and when I do I will probably go to the school in Ohio. I should hear something in the next couple of days.

Might want to call and check on your app. I applied and was accepted less than 48 hours later, and that is even with them having to check my employment history of 5 or so jobs in the last 3 years.

Spent a couple of hours at customer in Cincinnati with fellow driver EMT on Saturday and then ran into him @ Flying j in Pontoon Beach. It was good seeing him. I remember talking to him when he was in training in Trenton. Sounds like he is doing good. Love to see the newer guys doing good. Not that I'm an old guy with Millis, but it does seem like it sometimes. lol

Hey Gtown. How often do you have to load / unload? Is it palletized? I figured it was 97% no touch.
