Compared to a T2000, yes. Compared to a W900, no.
I'm a traditionalist (either that, or I've seen Smokey And The Bandit one time too many). While some of those aero tractors are nice and spiffy on the inside, they just don't match up with my idea of what a truck is supposed to look like. Aerodynamics and fuel economy be ######; why mess with something that was perfected 40, 50, or more years ago?
I might change my tune after driving one, but I don't think that's likely.
Naturally, the preceding is my own opinion. Owner-operators should drive what they like, and like what they drive.wanna_be_trucker and camaro68 Thank this. -
Guess I'm old school w900,379,classic any day over these outer space looking trucks I know its bad when I think Volvo has one or the better looking new trucks
-
The only aero truck I'd like is a 387, but I'll keep my 379, drive it right, it gets good mpg.DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -

The t660 w9 love child or could even be the t800 and the t660 got busy one night lol hard to say......but i wonder since only the hood and breathers are different really how much better would that truck be over just getting a w9 cause #### aint nothing sexier then a nicely done up hoodDrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
Yep. All three are killer engines. Nice that you can get any one of those three in a brand new glider.poppapump1332 and DrtyDiesel Thank this.

if i cant see an acre of hood in front of me im pretty sure i dont know how to drive it and i dont think im ready to learn
Flat Knuckle, poppapump1332 and camaro68 Thank this. -
I went from an Aero to a Cabover, I definitely dont have a hood now
camaro68, SHC and DrtyDiesel Thank this. -
Idk I would take a older stretched out cabover with a 400 big cam,3406b then a aero truck
DrtyDiesel, camaro68 and HaulnHorses Thank this. -
I don't have to look around my stacks when backing (luckily WS doesn't have the same narrow cabs as PACCAR) and I can see out the front just fine. To be honest, you see just as much out the front of any truck since you seat height is set while your going down the road. The only way you'd see any better is if your head is on the ceiling and your trying to see your bumper..... And if something is THAT close to the front of your truck then you did something wrong anyways LOL..... But I get where you are coming from. It's all just a personal preference and if I were to buy a brand new truck, price and specs are what would make my choice for me. I'd take a Coronado or a T660 if it were spec'd out for my needs, but I might buy the 389 if everything was the same as the aero truck. Since I drive 60mph everywhere I go, it really doesn't effect me as much as a guy who goes 70mph all day.DrtyDiesel and camaro68 Thank this.
