I start class this monday and will graduate the last week of June. Arkansas DMV makes your license while you wait so I don't have to worry about waiting on it to come in the mail. I hoping to go to Orientation on July 16th. I'm a little concern about the work history stuff. If you have no commercial driving history, they only go back 3 years correct?

That's what the application asks for, but they can go back real
Far once you get to orientation. -

Thanks HD, I will check it out

Been in class for 2 days now and it's going great! We will take our test for our permits on Thursday...
-
Good luck bro.. It was pretty easy for me but I read the manual for a week and a half straight..
-
And they will. I have seen them inquire as far back as 20 years
-
Thanks Neekva, are you out with a trainer yet?
Thanks for the info Craig... 20 years ago I was in middle school or junior high lol so I hope they don't go that far. Although I can still supply all of that info too if need be since I did start working 19 years ago at KFC lol... -
One could only wish DA.. Lol.. I don't graduate until this Friday, and then I won't be able to test for the examiner til hopefully next week either Tuesday or Thursday.. Hell, I'm ready now.. I've called USX 3 times tryna figure exactly what I will need to bring with me as far as paperwork, so that I won't be surprised or unprepared once I'm scheduled for orientation.. I haven't gotten a reply back yet.. Why tell me to call you if you won't return my calls?..

Yeah that would frustrate me too. I'm the same way, I like to have all my ducks in a row so there are no surprises. A Stevens truck stopped by the school today at lunch (trainer and student) and after talking to the student for a little while, I'm starting to rethink going with them. The training period is longer BUT you don't have to team drive after training. I'm trying to figure out exactly how much of a difference the pay is... I love their trucks but a pretty truck is not paying any bills lol so I need to see the numbers!
