Cool!! May I add to this? The process is painless and very good, these guys are very easy to talk to, I think the application process is easy and concise, I am very impressed with the way things have gone so far, I head to Dallas on Wednesday to start driving for them, I look forward to finding a home where I can work and get the home time. Thank You for bringing me on.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

That is me packing to go to Dallas in the morning to get started with these guys, till later take care drive safe and be good.
I have figured out that I need to slim down my amount of thing I bring with me, I am flying SW Airlines where "The Bags Fly Free" But still, I am leaving a bunch of stuff home. I'll be home in a few weeks and then I'll load it up. I guess my chaining outfit with a built in heater doesn't need to go this time!! And my Tool Bag and my cold weather in -40 weather clothing that can stay home another few months. and and and and...

WOW!! These guys are Top Shelf, I was met at the Airport, I hung around with the President and Ops Manager of the company went and do my UA and then they took me to Lunch, I am now sitting in my truck a 2012 Pro-Star with 148K on it, I road tested and they say it is all good, I am very very impressed! They went now to do some paperwork and stuff and will be back in a bit to take me to dinner. WOW!! Nice folks!.
I got the Airport in Phx, and my wife drove me and we were talking and I got to curbside jumped out grabbed my bags and off I went, I got to the counter and I realized that my phone was still plugged in the charger in the van, So the kind lady at the counter let me use her phone to try and call my wife to see if she could bring it back, To no avail and so I was talking to a couple of gys on the plane when we landed in El Paso before continuing on to Dallas and he let me use his phone and so I called my wife and she had not realized it till she got all the way home, So I am having my phone Fed Ex'd to me! At a cost of $90.00... Expensive mistake.Wharf Rat Thanks this. -
I can't PM you because I am new to the board but would be very interested in a position. I have 10 months experience driving a Reefer and a couple months driving with a trainer before I obtained my CDL. I currently live in Oregon but could stay with family in Texas if needed. Please send me info about the position if still available. I would love the opportunity

Mike, check into Watkins and Sheperd, they are in Missoula and have other terminals as well, they run paper logs and are a good company to get the experience, have you checked with Central Oregon Trucking? They seem good if you don't mind skateboards, or there is Interstate Dist up in Seattle or where ever it is up there, Hendrickson isn't on the top of my list but if you can ride it out for 6 months then you will have the experience you need to roll with a better company, Jim Palmer I think only requires 6 months I may be thinking wrong but I thought it... If I think of anymore I will let you know.

Are you hiring out of central FL, or just the TX area?
-
I'm from Az and just got on with them, email him or whatever means you have, I can say thus far it is all good!!! Thanks.
-
yes we hire out of central FL as well

Do you happen to want someone in Michigan? If you're hauling brokered freight, then I guess it might be hard to get me in and out of there, but if you have a good contact here that can get you good freight in the Mitten, I would be interested in knowing more.
3 yrs OTR, clean record, like to stay out 17 days, home for 4. Looking to start this week.
Thanks -
Getting you in and out of MI will not be an issue, Please visit www.Driveavx.com for details.
