You need to call Matt Jensen @ 1800-777-9100 ext 7319. He handles all re-hires from what I understand. He looked me up and had to send out some emails to several depts to ask them if I was in good standing but after he got the responses back I was good to go.

Toll roads are paid on the pre pass yes. They do route you on toll roads in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Florida. If you go there, you have to pay cash then turn in a receipt. Then you get reimbursed. Company driver only.

Thanks for the info fellas...Savannah is pretty sweet but I am really just looking to get on the road for awhile and not have to pay any bills ya know, that is not to say that in the future I wont want to settle down again and well, savannah would be a nice place to do it. I may call Central this week. It is a ways off until I can go back out (winter time) but it wouldnt hurt to try and lay some plans in advance. I know I need to get some more time in as I only have about 6 months experience total and I really never had any issues with central. I never turned down any runs and they always seemed to take care of me. I never got on dedicated but I did quite a few catfish runs out of mississippi as well as Kraft out of Atlanta, seems like a good way to go if you want a steady schedule and hometime. It was a good way to stay down south in the winter time as well. 1badz, you were on Kraft fleet were you not? Last I talked with you, you were going back to turning wrenches I think? Thats were Im at now and after 9years its really starting to wear on me.

yeah i was on kraft we ran southeast up to wisconsin and chicago and out to the ft. worth area no nyc or boston. did really well on that fleet and made good money. i was gonna go back to the body shop biz but found this deal in savannah so we loaded up and moved down here best decision i ever made. i still do some bodywork on the side but i doubt i'll ever go back to it full time.

Well Chompi I have been out for a good bit longer than you were, December will be almost 2yrs. I do have a fairly good record with them though, aside from leaving after only 6months of my contract. I never got a bill for the remainder though. But yeah, I got my CDL with them and got my only experience with them.

Cant say i blame you there man. I stayed down there a little while last summer, probable my favorite town on the east coast, had a blast there! What kind of body work do you do? I still build rods on the side and I am definitely not a master body guy but I have been getting pretty handy with the mig welder lately. I have been filling all the trim holes in my 46 and next I will be attempting to weld the seam in my hood and give her a nose job. Im trying not to use much bondo unless I have too, the last guy got a little happy with the bondo and now its all pushing out through the paint. So do you drive a daycab now? Pulling storage containers?

i got a freightshaker classic with the biggggg sleeper got the drop visor and big texas bumper and48 chicken lights a real rooster cruiser. also have the 8 in straight pipes. as far as the body work goes im doing some big trucks mainly front ends and some all over paint jobs on cars. really dont want to do any resteration work since it takes sooooo much time.

Sweet! I learned in an old FLD, Ive always wanted to drive one man, I dig that classic look (If you cant afford a peterbuilt) and of course they are realllly roomy, I could totally live in one for awhile, Beats the hell out of living in my old volvo. But you know, I didnt realize how much that little little volvo sucked until I got into a t200 kw that was a nice sleeper.... Anyhow Sounds like a great gig, congrats man. Youre absolutely right about restoration dude, you gotta love it cause it is definitely a time involved pain in the arse.

Well, my career with Central has been cut short.
Central has been a great company for me, aside from some "hiccups" from my DM and my first Trainer. Neither of those reflect the company at all. I'm leaving due to another job offer.
. Guy offered me $25 an hour starting out, 60 hours a week, and is going to get me belly dump experience. So I wish you all the best and to all the other prospective Central guys, Central is a great starting company. They will work with you, just gotta do your part.
