Doc says passed Pre-hire Physical But haven't gotten my date yet.. Lodging Question.

    Hey All, Just wanted to start by saying thanks for all the great information provided here. Helped to make my decision a little easier.


    Just took the physical on the 21st. Figure I will hear something on Monday. I was told by my recruiter that I would be going to Appleton for Van training & family owns a summer house about 10 mile west of there & haven't seen it since end of April..

    Has anyone ever heard of someone not needed the transportation & the lodging??? Is this something Roehl has a problem accepting??

    Not to say I'm bashful but if I have the choice of hotel room bed or my own, I need not explain what my choice would be...:sleepy2:

    You'll save them money NY providing your own or if u had to room with someone they'll get their own room. I don't think they would mind just communicate with them when the time comes when u get your results. Pretty sure it would be cool and you'd have better accommodations for school

    being on your own isn't a problem, when I did orientation in Gary, I drove back and forth every day. If you're late, it's on you.. a lot. and don't expect any compensation because you're not taking what they offer. beyond that. should be all good.

    As the economy has hit the wallet of everyone, them saving from not having to lodge me probably wouldn't matter. I just wanted to hear from someone else that did it...

    Thanks again for the info & as I know more I will follow-up on what the future holds...
