Except for the awning, the fact there is no tire shop, and there is no hill behind it your absolutely correct. It looks nothing like Baxter![]()

To bring this back to life, I decided to count how many trucks were not pulled up in the island this week that weren't fueling and no one was in the truck. Except for one TS during the week, the minimum was five trucks and there were nine one night. No one in front of them at all. No one at the fuel desk to pay in advance except one driver at the fuel desk at one of them. I even gave them them the benefit of the doubt and waited to see if maybe there was someone in front of them that sat there forever and they finally went inside. After fueling myself, pulling forward, going inside to go to the bathroom and get some food and finding the same trucks still in the fuel island I threw that idea out the window.
I just don't get what is so hard about pulling forward.scottied67 and Red Hot Mess Thank this. -
Topped off last week pulled up went inside to take a leak and get a drink to come out and see the jackwagon that pulled in behind me walking to his truck so I figured he must have had to pre pay. Well before I can even finish my logs he's walking up to my truck telling me I'm taking to long. This jack arse pulled in ran inside to piss (he was going in the rest room as I was going out)and was mad because I was taking to long. There was no line for me to use the rest room or pay for my drink and fuel so I was not inside more than a few minutes. When I asked him if he bought fuel he just turned around and walked to his truck waving his hands. So he was to effing lazy to park in a spot and parked on the island and was wanting me to hurry I'm guessing since he was a company driver on E-logs. Sorry when I pay for over $600.00 of fuel I will use the restroom and get a drink and update my logs (maybe what 5 min total) and if some a-hole wants to be lazy and expect me to move because he can't park or use his reverse that makes me just go even slower. and for what its worth when I pulled up there was 3 pumps with out trucks but they where farther from the front door.

That seemed to happen to me a lot when I was pulling tankers. I wasn't OTR so I had only one tank. I could fuel and be done before the guy who was pulled ahead left. So I would run in and get a receipt and use the bathroom and maybe grab something at the store. When I came back out the guy ahead of me was now gone. I got some dirty looks, but there was nothing I could do about it.
I sure wish I could have gotten a receipt at the pump, would made my life easier............. -
I'm doubting it took you 20 minutes inside like these guys. That's the big difference.

True, but I did feel bad for the way it looked. -
ah this thread is back...how pitiful

same rules should apply to the scale too except when done you go park it!!!!. dude pulled forward from the scale at the flying J in west memphis. Pulled up went inside to pay and get lunch.
I just backed off the scale and pulled through at the farthest fuel island to to my thing.
