Just a plain old steel tarp, 4 foot drop. Just figure out what works best for you. Takes some time and repetition to perfect the method that works for you.DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
There is no such thing as over-securement, however, DOT does look funny at some things and if it isn't up to par (tears in straps etc) they will gig you for bad securement so there is ONE down side to having too much securment. If it looks weird they may investigate.

They can look all they want, I don't mind.

THIS is how you hand tarp
a coil!
When security informs you that your load needs tarped because it looks too perfect and like bare black iron on the cameras.....your doing it right!DrtyDiesel, CAXPT and Treefork Thank this. -
Ummm is that coil I see at the bottom on the back???

Nice otherwise...but if that's coil I see there between the dunnage and below the tarp, you have exposed coil
-
Nope! Plastic bag and sitting on paper.
This is a bad tarping job.
CAXPT Thanks this. -
