You will most likely have to pay for a refresher course or find a company that offers one, the insurance companies pretty much control the process not the trucking company's anymore, without recent driving experience just having a CDL nowadays doesn't open up to many doors.

Privy is right, If you have little or no experience or have been off the road for 12 months or more most large companies will require you to go through refresher training. The insurance companies make the hiring decisions these days and some form of refresher will be needed. If you go with small local company you may get around this. Schnieder would be my pick. They have a school, good company, lots of freight and many options for OTR, regional, local, flats, tanker, intermodel, teams, lease, O/O, etc.
