Two words sums it up( cheap fuel) and they really don't care how how hard it is to get it or that fuel stop has no facilities.

Know what that's like, even us door closers deal with the same B.S. !
Hope they get ya going soon !

Same B.S? How about a shipper that requires 16 snap binders but only wants two chains per piece and your getting 4 pieces. Or the fact they video tape what you've done and don't show you the video.
Oh wait thats right you only have 13 because of the inventory appleton did and they took some to keep me at 12 (found one in my tool box). So now you have to go buy 3 snap binders at $30.99 a piece and dispatch is asking for you to pay out of pocket. Now my FM would of did a comcheck no questions asked but after hours can't take 5 minutes out of their busy schedule to --nicely-- do it. Now they want to ask questions in why you can't just buy them.
Let's see here. Spend 100 dollars out of pocket THEN wait a week to get it back? What if I asked them to go buy a office chair to sit in that cost 100 dollars and wait a week to get paid back. Honestly my dumb #### left my debt card at a TA... But it's none of their ##### business anyways.
Not trying to compare just ranting. Something as small as binders just kinda got to me. Shame of it is as many problems I've been having im still enjoying it. Plus my FM is just awesome!
P.S: I know van deals with alot of B.S. I just found a good time to chime in with my day! -
You only have 12 binders? I have had 16 since day one, even after inventory. How many chains do you have if you only have 12 binders? Did they change the amount we are supposed to carry?
-
If I read it right he said SNAP binders. I only have 8 of those along with 8 ratchet. Would rather carry mostly snaps as I feel a load is more secure with those, but Roehl is 8 & 8 for inventory... Supposedly!

Man that sux... Only had to sit once and that's because of shift change.

They are sitting at the Chittenango Service Plaza in New York. No reload today, so we'll see what tomorrow brings...

Back in the olden times, of the long-long ago, we were supposed to have 12 chains and 12 binders, Then, we picked up a customer somewhere in the SE, who needed more than that, and so, 12 begat 16. and it was known. because every flatbedder from sea to shining sea got a QC message that they needed to carry 16 binders. Which begat Confusion, as to why someone would need 16 binders, and 12 chains? and They Spake: "Ok, pick up 4 more chains, too." And so it was written. just not everywhere, and not at the same time.
It's possible that Appleton's running off of an errant, dated inventory list.Cheryl and DrtyDiesel Thank this. -
