2004 Freightliner with Detroit 60 series

    I have a Detroit 60 series that starts only with either. I have changed and managed all fuel mechanical possibillities. There is a srs sensor code signal and a low voltage in message screen. I have changed srs and trs sensors no results. I am planning to change wire harness to sensors. Any other suggestions? Has anybody had same problems with positive results?

    Is there a strong odor of hot diesel ? Had a 07 with a cracked injector line. Lost prime every time I shut it off.

    Did the SRS and TRS replacement solve the SRS code? SRS is the cam sensor and will cause starting issues. Does the engine seem to run rough when it actually starts or are you giving it a little candy and it fires up and runs fine?
