shame on the carlisle walmart and the police department and truck drivers. to make a long story short, this past weekend i was laid over in carlisle pa from fri morning to monday morning. the layover was unexpected, and i ran out of one of my prescription meds. googled walmart on the phone, i called them and had the script filled. i went to pick it up, bobtailed, and as soon as i parked, a carlisle local cop pulls in right behind me. i said im gonna go in and pick up a script that i ran out of and i need to get. cop informed me that if i parked there any longer, it was a $111 ticket and 5 points on my license. what BS.
im sure that this is a result of drivers who are just plain nasty pigs, but penalizing someone who was going to spend money in your community is really pathetic.

5 points I don't think so he was scaring you

Walmart use to be trucker friendly but we have lazy ignorant slobs in trucking leave their trash and pee bottles in the parking lot
Skunk_Truck_2590, DocWatson, Hanadarko and 1 other person Thank this. -
File a complaint that he would not let you get your medication. There's rules and then there's common sense. This guy likes being a dick, let him explain himself to his superiors.

that cop needs to go back to academy .5 points for parking ticket? lmao!!!

i thought about calling. but i decided to let that little miserable man continue to think he is high on the roost. just dont spend a #### dime in that city unless you cant avoid doing so.

it's mechanicsburg,pa.there has been stories told elsewhere here about it.it's the property owner, not wal-mart who started it.when truckstops in carlisle filled up,everyone headed there and basically alot of trashing got done.it used to be they would just tow you,but i think they got sued and that stopped that.
J_FROG Thanks this. -
Silver Springs township has nothing better to do, plain and simple. They darn sure don't investigate real crimes and I know first hand as I was leased to a carrier in Mechanicsburg. In a slight defense of the property owner, a huge MAJORITY of the truckers that parked rigs in there were discourteous at best, and down right destructive at worst. It would be hard to get in there with a car because the trucks were parked every which way EVERYWHERE.

That's something that really gets under my skin, being treated like a criminal or something less than human because I drive for a living. Yeah, I drive a truck, but I can also do mechanical work, run heavy equipment, fix your plumbing, your roof, build a computer from scratch including the OS and all the programs, and hey, I even speak english. I'm not an idiot and treating me like one will cause more problems than you want to deal with.
