last year around this time, they had 1 rollover a day for a week straight!

The sad thing is, they became rather apathetic toward rollovers. When 'the rookie' rolled his truck near Gallup, NM it was a huge deal at CRE. Special meetings were called, driver seminars were scheduled, etc. CRE even made their DMs answer their phones "Safety First", after that. But, by the time that 2 or 3 a week was 'average', we stopped getting endless messages about rollovers. It was more like "We had another rollover this weekend, the driver and codriver are fine, bla bla blah". Then three days later we'd get "We are saddened to announce So-n-So has passed away of natural causes". Yeah, I believe you.
Like the week we got the message that we had a rollover where the driver and co-driver died. A few days later we mysteriously got messages saying "So-n-so died of natural causes", followed a few minutes later by another saying someone else "died of a heart attack".
Like we couldn't connect the dots. And that first one wasn't natural. Unless being tossed about the sleeper like a rag doll as they plowed through a guard rail 'natural'.Rick_C and AfterShock Thank this. -
This is the way all posts should be about Companies on here, good or bad...
Props to the OP for not putting out the typical "They screwed me took all my money and are evil liars"FLATBED, NavigatorWife and AfterShock Thank this. -
I remember that, everyday the Qualcomm would have a message about another roll over that occured. I think it was 8 or 9 total for that calendar week.NavigatorWife Thanks this.

I didn't aim to hit the popularity meter, but it's great to know that many people are finding the review of my CRE experience useful. I've always been outspoken about BS that needs to be spoken about. I usually give the other party a few chances to address the issue before I go off. I had to do this with the 2nd worst company I worked for next to CRE(Dow Chemical) when I worked there at 19 years old. I tend to piss off the establishment when all I'm attempting to do is get them to deliver on the things they claim they will deliver on. I have a simple philosophy on the issue and I'll use a modified quote to sum it up.
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good people do nothing." - Edmund Burke
These major corporations and "family run" business corporations have turned into a mob and hide behind their tie. It amazes me that people still fall for the BS, it amazes me further that so many stay quiet in fear and don't call them out on it. I may be financially poor and at the mercy of another major trucking company for an income right now, but I can look in the mirror at the end of the day and say my soul is fairly clean. What can Dan England honestly say?..AfterShock and roadwarriorflatbeder Thank this. -
