I leased a truck from Prime,Inc for 20 days, generated $6528.00 in 11 of those 20 days, spent 9 days in the shop with electrical problems and was paid a total of $18.50 for the entire period. I never took an advance and paid for my own fuel. My last statement says I owe them $661.00 for hauling the last load that was suppose to pay me $1,999.60 after returning the truck full of fuel to their terminal and was dropped off at the Scranton, Pa bus station where I bought a bus ticket for the 550 mile trip home. Fellow Vets BEWARE the only place you will find more criminals is in the illegal narcotics business.
If you can afford to work for $6.00 a week go to Prime, Inc.

This is perfect! I've been getting #### tired of these $5.00 a week bottom feeder companies.
I can't thank you enough for posting this info.
I'm putting in my application immediately!!
Now, are you sure all I have to do to get this job is to sign a lease that completely favors the company without reading it?
Hooray! My wife will be thrilled! -
Need details Red !!! Show us the breakdown , what did they take the money for???
Minder Kat Thanks this. -
I've never worked for Prime but I know in a lot of these L/O deals if you don't run the fuel thru their comdata(or whatever card they use) you don't get the company discounts and or the price break the company gives you on fuel. Is this the case at Prime?

I hate to say it.YOU GOT WHAT YOU ASKED FOR! Sorry no pitty here.Hitman, Spamalot, joseph1135 and 1 other person Thank this. -
You are guaranteed 1.02 a mile if the loads you haul pay more than 1.02 they keep the difference and deduct it from your 72% leaving you in a minus situation. My fixed cost were suppose to be $1,150 per week and they charged $1670.00 for each week. They charged me for two steer tires that the previous leaser bought from them before my lease , that was $989.00 and $188.00 for a step to the cat walk that I found on the pre-lease inspection. The trick that really screwed you was the $145.00 a day guaranteed pay , if you made more then that it was deducted from the 145.00 guaranteed amount leaving you with nothing. My last load was to pay $1,999.28 for 578 miles, I was paid nothing and sent a notice that I owed them $661.00. I'm still trying to figure that one out.
