Yes that is, has anyone ever read the Volvo nightmare repairs here and on other boards? Reason people ditch them is because it is not worth fixing or cost too much to repair for the long run, plenty of fleece leasing companies that do not do Volvos.

My own story is one of them. Here is the link for easy reference: http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...um/182918-how-go-broke-owning-volvo-cost.html

My fancy Volvo VNL780 was $4 200.00 down with 42 payments of $ 1 375.00 at Lone Mountain. So it came to $61 950.00
It is a 2007 model and had 488 000 on the clock. Ex U.S. Express.
The lease agreement does not make provision for interest.
Most Freightliner dealers had better deals than that at the time, but I was unable to finance. I overpaid perhaps $10 000.00
If your credit is excellent, you can probably find a better deal other than at Lone Mountain or Arrow Trucks.
But average or insufficient credit is a dealbreaker, so Lone Mountain is not a bad choice if you are unable to finance through a bank or lending house.

    Good Luck!!

due to their inability to get their poop in a group and all that good stuff.

    they lost a sale.

I waited a week for an answer only to be called and asked where all the papers they wanted me to submit that I emailed to a credit specialist the week before. She was gone on vacation the entire week. The guy called me on Friday.

Early this week, I finally got an approval out of them and told the salesmen I already was finalizing a sale with another company.

TONIGHT just now I got called and woke up and the saleslady was calling on behalf of the guy I told last week what was going on who is on vacation this week.

And they both wanted to make sure I knew that the approval was good for 60 days should the other deal not work out.

Id take the gray before that yellow LOL. That grey one looks like an old IWX truck. Im just not the biggest fan of the EGR DDS60 motors. 12.7 or 14.0 non EGR I would take all day especially with a 13 speed.

I am not a huge fan on the EGR either.

I have two things I am looking at doing.

    The first will be this.
    http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...teen-wheelers/152719-detroit-power-boost.html

I want to get an actual baro sensor body and put the resistors into it so I can "plug-n-play". I really like this because of how easy it will be to "reverse" the modification.

If that proves that the engine will REALLY perform better,

Then a true EGR delete will be done with a Borg Warner 171702 turbo conversion as well.

Yeah well, 419 hp to the drives on the dyno, DDEC showing about 306 idle hours in 3 1/2 years, full maintenance and warranty records from Cross Creek AND Pacific Truck. I'll take it.....

    Oh wait...

    I did ......
