Sure,

they do the basic background check, they don't dig very deep.

They also accept criminal backgrounds, after some time has lapsed.

 

I started with Lessors 10days ago,and they seem ok so far.We'll see how it works out.
I worked for Link from 12/2010 to 04/2011.The shortest time working for ANY company in 25yrs.
Their equipt was a creaper cops wet dream(JUNK),their dispatchers were ######0l3$ from day one,their trucks were some of the slowest on the rd.,and I was getting the same cpm as I did back in 2000(.325cpm).
When they changed the time off policy from one day off for every 6days out,to 34hrs off,no matter how long you were gone from home,and considered a 34hr restart on the rd.as your time off as well I QUIT!

Everything In your post is 100% factual.
I wouldnt rank them with the lower bottom feeders,but their not far off.

Probably the best thing that can be said about Lessors is that they keep the equipt.in top notch condition.The tractors get replaced every 3yrs/350,000mi.,and trailers every 4yrs..
They will also hire those with past license issues,and wouldnt be the worst choice for a Fl.driver living in the Tampa/Lakeland area.
They do have a lease program,but dont actively push it like most of the other bottom feeders do.

Their fleet speed is set at 65mph with the foot,and 67-68mph with the cruise control.No race trucks,but not blocking traffic either.
One of my main issues with them is that if you live in one of the terminal states(Mn.,Fl.,Id.),you cant take the rig home for your time off(I live 110mi.from the Dover,Fl.yard).The insurance,even if you qualify costs more than its worth.I dont know about others,but $200per wk.for family coverage is pretty GDMF steep.
I cant say Lessors Inc.is a good company,but they are far from being the worst,and for the time being they have temporarily filled a hole.
I will have been with them for a year the end of July,and plan on jumping ship then.
I HATE HAULING REEFER REGARDLESS OF THE OUTFIT.
A bad heavy equipt.hauling outfit is better than the best reefer outfit.
