new info. on Melton truck lines

getin me a new truck monday yea buddy thats just one more reason i love this company they treat me like gold... whats up noggin its been a while

 

Not much. Just runnin this truck into the ground. Rolled 500k the other day, still runnin like a champ. I take it you're in Tulsa now?

 

Hey y'all got orientation in Youngstown, OH tomorrow. Anyone else gonna be there?

 

The last couples times I went to a yard other than Tulsa, I saw only 1 or 2 new guys...you may just be on your own.

 

Hey guys's just got the word from Tulsa that I have a job! Whats it like working there?, How are the miles? I live in the Denver area do you get there much?

 

I get through Denver quite frequently....

 

I get decent miles, average 2100-2500. I've only had less than 2000 a handful of times, and have had over 3000 2-3 handfuls. But then again, I never go home, and my DM knows that, so she keeps me movin.

 

I'm glad Melton is working out for you Noggin. I have often thought about Melton but wasn't sure about them. You hear so much negativity in this industry and don't know what to believe. They seem like a decent company. I got to say those KW's they have are pretty sharp looking.

 

Yeah, but you hear that with every company. Don't get me wrong, they've done me bad a couple times....but nothing to get all quitty about. I feel that your experience with your company is what you make of it. I have a great relationship with my DM, and if I don't like something, I'll let her know and she'll try to fix it. If not, oh well.

Oh, and I wouldn't know about the sharpness...I drive a FTL lol

 

Really thinking of going to Melton.. Have no flatbed exp but here they will teach you da ropes.. Have always been interested in flat beds but always worried I wldnt be able to secure my loads.. Really really really considering this company tho.. Kinda excited and haven't even filled out application yet
