That sounds pretty rough, did it all sink in?

Yeah it was tough. (not). Pretty easy though I do have to track mileage crossing state lines. They only have 2 office employees not counting the owner. First run will be local to IL and back. Gonna be driving an auto shift though, that might take some getting used to.

What you got in there for the substrate? I've thought about doing a native tank. I don't have a pond so I'll have to look into local legality.

Just had to put my half an nickels worth in here. I left in January as well after getting the title I then switched to Sparhawk in Wi Rapids-- Huge difference from Roehl, more laid back no more fear of getting a phone call because someone had a hair up there's. I can Make the same in 3 days then what I would get in 10-11 with Roehl and no more micro/ hand holding

I am now an offical after life member, put in my notice this afternoon. New job called just as they were taking my truck off the hook at the dealership, broke a fuel pump I think. Sitting in a motel, may not get the truck back tomorrow, we will see.

that photo was just a stock shot of a bluegill, as i didn't have the camera handy for the real tank. i'm using ordinary white limestone pea gravel, with an ordinary biofilter. nothing fancy. the kids even dropped in a miniature sunken ship.

i have no neighbors, no witnesses, and nobody cares, so wildlife violations are a non-issue. the sunfish are a first, as in the past we've just done darters and various shiners. we throw them all back when they get big.
