JimTheHut What is your average speed to achieve that?
-
I drive mostly at 57 when loaded and 55 when empty. Now if I have to go faster to get someplace or around a city before the traffic starts, I will go as fast as 68 if the speed limit allows...but then I slow back down.
I start out slow...shift at 1350 rpms...
Variables that can effect it are load weight, how you place the load, tarp, wind, terrain, rain, snow ect....but if you drive relaxed and not in a hurry....the mpg will be there.jbatmick, Flatbedder 1966 and sewerman Thank this. -
hmmmmmm. . . sounds familiar. lol. i fish, and dont count what doesn't go in the net so my 57 mph netted me $915.50 thats net pay for those of you reading this a bit slow to catch on. finished last qtr at 7.944 so that was 4 cents per tariff mile. . . CHA-CHING!!!!sewerman Thanks this.

sound like one of them overachievers. I'll say that only you beat me again Sarge. LOL -
You mean on this forum....as Sarge was beat by other in the 8 range.
-
It only matters to me when there's money on the line. For the last four years Sarge and me have a big money bet on who beats who for the quarter.
Just like on the movie trading places. A brand-new one dollar bill.
I will say he beats me 90% of the time. -
And you beat me 100% of the time....lolsewerman Thanks this.

7.820 mpg.....26.474oor for the new quarter
