Not sure who you guys are talking to, but thats the first time I ever heard of any of that... I had a 10 hour paid orientation, they even paid me 2 hours for the day I was interviewed and drug tested.

Ok guys... Back from baker and in billings now.
    Spoke to Nalco
    Oneok
    And several others.
Was offered a spot $16 building metal buildings and it was bumped up when I reminded the owner I have a cdl with all endorsements. He said for me to go see his brother down the street for heavy equipment hauling if I didn't find anything come back and he'd take me.
Went to another company and spoke to the secretary who gave me a app, took my cell# down and jotted my mother in laws name down. I wasn't told I was hired anywhere but with my M-I-L name drop it opened everything. So I have apps to fill out and copies of items to send back.
I really need to get my honey do's done at home. Wife is down to moving back her old home town.

Indeed, Wiley has been bought out by Quality Carriers out of Florida. They are planning a big expansion in this area due to the millions of gallons of water needed DAILY in the Bakken. I'm subcontracted out to a small company, but if you have a CDL-A , a tanker endorsement and or doubles, and need work, this is the place to be. You'll work long hours, but most are paying $20/HR, AND $30/hr after 40. 80% of all job openings in the oil patch are CDL driving jobs, since it takes about 4 million gallons to frac ONE well! Try to apply online and get a few good leads BEFORE you make the trip up here. If it includes housing.. all the better! Good Luck!

So in all reality are the jobs still in nd? I am an 11 year veteran truck driver with every endorcment but hazmat(which I can get easy enough again). Clean driving record except for a log book ticket. Anyway I'm seriously thinking about heading north, are the jobs still as good as what people say?

Anyone in ND doing any hotshot work. Currently in PA and the work is slow and willing to take a truck out there to do hotshot work if there is a big demand for them. I have read a lot about hauling water/crude but nothing about hotshot work. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the info!
