    Somebody overheard someone else telling a third party they got it from their second cousin and he got it dispatch. The anti idling regulations in different areas(yeah, even Fulton Market in Chicago, and Lord knows where else besides local and store policy may have something to do with it.

    There are some trucks will not idle more than a few minutes without the driver getting creative, lots of how do I do this threads. I used an extension tube to bump mine off of slow idle, where it would shut down in a few minutes. The APU wasn't running then , either, at least the heater portion of a Tri-pac. I got the fast idle fixed, others shut down after a few minutes with the idle bumped up. I hate switching trucks.

    I have never driven for a 'big' company, but I have talked to a fair number of drivers for them in the past 8 years.

    I have been on a truck for two weeks and we idle each night all night with no issues.

    I idle everyday when I park for my 10hr. I even idle on my 34hr resets. I got lucky with my truck though. Don't have to use the cruise control to idle it up or any other tricks. Just idles without doing anything. They will have to pry the keys to this thing out of my hands when time comes that they want it back and to give me a new one lol

    not really an apu at all just a crutch when u need a cast I dunno if all Hirschbach trucks have that I thought i had seen tripacks on some
