I broke my colarbone into 4 pieces and had to have surgery to get it back together.......im all fixed and ready to go back to work. Do i have do anything legal before i go back to work?

That's debatable. If you broke it while on the job, workmans comp is involved and you will to be "released" to return to work. If done on the weekend while acting goofy on your quad runner, actually no. No different than getting a bad cold and being out for a week. I suppose the debatable part comes when you get a DOT physical and the examining Doc asks what these scars are and you say you had surgery to repair a broken collar bone which could affect you driving.

When I went back to driving after back surgery, I was asked by the company I applied to, to get a note from my doctor saying I was good to go. When I went for my physical, nobody asked to see it. But I kept it for future reference, in case anyone ever does.
