I saw a WHOLE load of flat sheets of thin steel come off a guy's deck last year. It happened in that Love's off exit 9 in Gary, IN. Just as he came off the street into the fuel island, those sheets seemed to shear off his straps and come flying off that deck like a deck of cards. I felt so sorry for the poor guy. But after that, NO STRAPS on sheet metal for me.

I
For me it would depend on who does the licking, maybe it could be a double d avenger. -
So your one of those guys who thinks the truck can't be pulled out of a door unless ALL the required straps/chains are on the load?
-
Two chains per coil and get out of the way!
-
One always was good

Cant remeber the name of the place, pretty big sized steel plant near Pueblo, Co. I hauled slinkys out of there. They have ya throw one strap on front and one on the rear, and then they want you to go scale and do paper work before youre allowed to strap them the rest of the way. Its about a 2 mile drive from where they load ya back to their scale. That drive makes me nervous as all get out.

Rocky Mountain Steel?
-
Only thing they'll be concerned about is how dirty that trailer is.
-
yep thats rocky mountain steel 2 straps then drive all they way back around to the scale before you secure the other slinkys
-
