    Greetings all!

I am currentlty a special education teacher in California. I have slowly become more and more irritated with the education system in this country. Due to this I thought trucking might be a good route to go as I like solitude and love to travel.

I have a few questions though: I was fired from an insurance job about 6 years ago for incorrectly documenting. Additionally, I currently take an anti depresant (low dose), a blood pressure med (low dose) and a muscle relaxer as needed for anxiety. I also use a CPAP. Will these issues bar me from employment?

    Thanks!

I too am leaving the classroom and for the same reasons.

Your medical questions can/will be answered during your DOT physical. So before you make the jump in careers, go and get one done. If you can't pass the physical, then no need to spend time, effort, and dollars on CDL school. Most will require you complete the physical before they allow you to enroll.

Given your questions/concerns, you will want to have the answers before you tell the Principal what to do with you-know-what you-know-where.
