Kind of a scary bunch really. :)

I am somewhat interested, currently driving a tri-tri LN2 tanker plus a bunch of pumping LN2 but not getting the hours I would prefer. Enough experience to get it around the corners safely with an Alberta Class 1 and no demerits.

Would you consider posting your going rate here, and roughly how many hours per month, or the rotation or whatever you are looking for? Camp sounds great, but would like a few more details.

    Thx, Geo

hang in here desolation.give it till the end of july or sept everyone is kind dragging right now, but n2 bulk/pump operator is not a bad place to be. boring when its slow, but if you make a point of trying to learn from the old timers while you are hanging out at the shop, it can help when things get busy.

Brand new to this thread, have read the whole thing, WOW lots of information, and a lot of great people offering it!!

I am looking at getting into the industry and was wondering if anyone knows who is hiring at the moment? Sounds like it has been a slow start this year. I have a class 1, but am restricted to Auto trans (road tested on an automatic) with some experience on Dump Trucks, would this inhibit me greatly in getting hired? Also is the current concensus still apply in person?

    Thanks for any input!

Apply in person is best when you know where to apply, but kijiji works great too. There is a dump truck company in Calgary another driver loves, believe it is mikes something with blue and white trucks. He has class one but is driving class three for them and loving it. Allison automatic in their class three trucks.

I am sitting in an automatic kenworth typing this, class one job that I got off kijiji...

Mike Vail... been around forever, don't know them personally, but hear lots of good and they run a lot of new trucks.

    Hello Follks,

Completed Class1A licence. 8 Years Rogers Service Technician job right out of high school. Two employers ever. Got laid off this month. Only PROBLEM: Ontario G licence 1 speeding ticket, 1 wrong turn and 2 demerit points. How well will I do in securing a Class 1A driving job in Grande P or Surrounding Area's. Also if my G licence gets converted to Alberta's, will the demerit points increase or stay at 2? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot guys.

Jus get a Ontario Commercial Driver Abstract. Oints can not increase. This way you're probably good for up to 6 points.

    ONtoAB Thanks this.

Hey all. So whats going on out there in the world - ? I've been moving / unpacking this last month, good time to do it during the slowdown, more rain today, thunderstorm last night - probably means the season is going to be stretched out longer. Would be nice to get out and get some work. I'm considering maybe some liquid hauling, anyone have any tips?
