Yes I know it is a subject that people don't care to talk about. I am at a loss right now, can't sit anywere, they swelled up yesterday and I was in such pain that all i could do was lay down all day. Forget about using the bathroom. That is a pain I never want to go through again.

Rutin 500 at the health food store. It really works!:yes2557:

Rutin is a flavonoid glycoside also called rutoside, quercetin-3-rutinoside and sophorin. Often referred to as a bioflavonoid, it is a powerful antioxidant found in both citrus and non-citrus sources, such as buckwheat. NOW provides Rutin derived from a non-citrus source. Rutin, like quercetin, supports blood vessel integrity, bowel health, and promotes a healthy inflammation response.*

Watch what you eat. High acid foods will cause inflamation. Stick with grains and easy to digest foods. Tomato sauce is a killer for me.

You can alway go to the doctor and get them removed. Ouch!

Well the pain got so bad on Tuesday that it was driving me to tears, had not slept in two nights so that might have also driven the emotions wild. My Doc sent me to the city (Grand Forks) ER. After a good dose of morphine and something for my nausea, they took a look, WOW was what one said. Ring of fire!!!!! My @55 is one big hemroid, well it is actually 2 large ones and a couple smaller ones, some are thrombosed while there are a couple prolapsed. The elected to not do anything with them at this time, gave me scripts for some narcotic pain relievers and something for nausea along with a cream a stool softener and some antibiotics. Along with orders to take warm sits baths 3 times a day, now straining of any sort (couch theropy). Feeling a little better in that department but now have developed a bug in my gut. Can't eat or drink anything without being almost doubled over from it.

I guess I am going to have to hold out on doing my DOT physical for a few more days since I am not sure if they check for narcotics with their pee cup.

The worst part is not scooter riding for awhile. Been trying to rack up some miles on the Harley this summer during our down time. The buds are planning another 500-600 mile day on Saturday. Don't think I could reach the ground while sitting on a donut on my scooter seat.
