I personally recommend Central. Only because I have ran team for them for many years and made very good money and was treated pretty fairly. Most important is that Central always went above and beyond to help us with anything we ever needed! Central really treats their teams like gold! You can make really good money running team with Central and they also have the lease option once you have been there a year or so and know what you guys are doing. Normally I wouldn't recommend leasing except to teams. As company drivers at Central you will be driving top notch equipment and usually brand new trucks are reserved for the teams.

Like I said this is just a personal recommendation and its because I have driven for them and know what its like there. There are many good companies out there. I would though highly recommend you stay away from the mega-carriers. Find a good large company so that they can keep you busy, and make sure they can keep "teams" busy. I would definitely go reefer because you have twice the load options, insuring you stay rolling. With that said though besides freight, there is a lot of other gigs out there for teams. My wife and I also hauled horses commercially and that was a good gig! There are driving jobs like Nascar, CBS Sports, Bike week tour, Bedbuggin, Hauling horses, cows, animals etc.... Concert tours and events are also good for teams. (Upstaging is a good company for that)

Take your time and do your research. Don't sacrifice yourselves just because you are newbies! As a team you can be a little more picky when it comes to finding a good company.

Good luck man and if you want to "pm" me with any questions at all feel free...

    Trucker_Matt Thanks this.
