What is different about Tyson than any other company? Do they have a bad scheduling department, or do they kill the chicken while you are there waiting? There are a lot of places like Tennessee Pride sausage that have you in and out in one hour every single time. Yet every Tyson I know delays you for at least six+ hours. Right now I have been waiting at this Tyson in Robards, KY for 14+ hours. There were times when I was delayed at a Tyson for 40 hours. When I give then my pickup number, they always say "oh you are going to be waiting for a while" every single time no matter which state it is. I laughed when I was at a Tyson in Goodlettsville, TN and someone wrote on the receiver window that Tyson stands for:

    T rucker
    Y our
    S taying
    O ver
    N ight

lol. Seriously I would really like to know why Tyson delays the hell out of you. I know Walmart takes a long time due to all of the inventory and their lumpers check every package that they unload which takes forever, but why Tyson? I once went to another chicken plant (Case Farms) and they had me in and out in about two hours.

Tyson takes pride in their Chicken being fresh, so yes, you were close. However, to kill them, they first have to catch them.

OK I guessed at that so that has to make sense that it isn't prepared. But at least they can have us scheduled to pickup closer to when they are ready. I just got off home time and drove two hours up here to wait 14+ hours. I could have stayed at home longer if I knew that. I am not mad and having a good time watching a lot of movies and relaxing in my sleeper, but they just need to schedule it better as every other company usually has a door for you when you arrive or at least there is just an hour wait.

Could be worse we waited at IKEA once for 18hrs waiting on return pallets that were going back to the manufacturer. No bathroom, no facilitates of any kind. I finally called safety to get permission to drop the trailer to leave the premises to find a restroom. Nobody in the warehouse spoke English. On our wait out the gate tge guard broke the rules and allowed tge wife and I to use tge restroom and microwave. 18 hrs in the dock door sucks.

Oh no I have had worse loads when I was delayed for 60 hours, but every single Tyson in every single city always delays me way after the appt time. The only time a Tyson didn't delay me was a drop in hook in Olathe KS. crb you dont have a toilet in your truck? I am prepared for all emergencies as they happen often.

the 18 hrs we sat as a team we got next to nothing for detention. Luckily we don't sit like that at this company.
