What is it about Dart that you like over Centrals lease?
-
What is about Dart>?
-
@bangsistro- I'm looking at going to Central the week after Labor day, if they accept me. I am down here near Bakersfield so not too far.
@plumbline77- just trying to get all the info I can about companies before I make that leap. I plan on working at a company for at least 1 year before I make a big decision. Also, checking my options about leasing(which I'm leaning towards no) and O/O. I might choose Dart or somewhere else. Dart and I know many other places offer O/O and not just a lease. -
Larry they do have a terminal in GA just east of Atlanta in Conoaly (misspelled I'm sure). If you are only going to stick around for a year I wold stay company. If yoj wanted the % experience you could try to take over a lease, but finding one under a year may be hard. Why Dart if I may be so bold?

If you have the means to do so you can buy a truck and be a true % at Central. It is a busoness decision to lease or buy. If you don't like the lease at Central you can lease through a 3rd party and bring the truck in. I kinda wish I had taken the 3rd option but the Central lease is working out for now, and I like training so Central is a good company to train for (there is no shortage of students). In 2 years I'm going to have to make the decision of what to do. If I decide to continue training I'll stay at Central, but probably lease through a 3rd party.

Yes I understand the difference. Over the course of a 30year fixed the house will certainly be worth more then it was at the beginning. What we have experienced over the last few years is a complete aberation brought on by greedy banks making shady loans to people who had no business buying a house.larry73 Thanks this.

@PSUMoose - Do they charge you variable mileage expenses on your lease like C.R. does?
-
well i am supose to start with central on monday the 23 I would like to see some real numbers for there lease i got the flyer that talks about it and says it runs about 950.00 a week but dose that include everything ex. fuel or are there more hiden charges in it thank you in advance
-
950.00 a week will cover it all but fuel after you get the enitial little stuff paid up that only comes out for several weeks at first. Central does charge over mileage fees on their lease ops trucks but it all goes toward the balloon payment at the end if you decide to buy the truck. If you do not buy the truck the money you have paid in over mileage stays with the truck so if the next person to lease buys it it will make their final balloon lower. Does this make since?
larry73 Thanks this.
