Most of the companies in North Dakota only take apps online. I applied in Jan of this year and it took 3 weeks before I heard from them. They told me they were getting over 100 apps a day and only called on about 3.

Things hhave changed since I got here in 2010 it's hard to find a company to take a newby now...there are way more people up here looking for work then there was before so the bigger outfits can be pickier now...but I have seen swift up here with tankers so might try them

    Hello,
Power Fuels pays about 17% of the gross to the driver. So best case scenario (to start) is you getting 17% of $130.00 - $145.00 per hour for a max of 12 hours per day and a max of 72 hours in a 7 day period. So $1,774.00 per 7 day period, MAX. Then (unlike logcap IV) you will pay taxes, food, rent and gas for your car.

MBI pays 19 -25 per hour to start for non hazmat and 22 - 27 for crude drivers.
We get time and 1/2 over 40 and we usually get at least 72 hours in a 7 day period. I have never got less than 75. We pay 3 bucks per hour more for night shift.
I make at least 2K per 7 days but usually closer to 2.5K per 7 days. Most people do.
You have to start the process online no matter what name I can give you. Once you get the interview (skype) just hit me up and I will make sure they know you are logcap. Anyone who has worked 12 hours per day, 7 days per week is someone every company wants up here. Make sure keywords in your resume note ( military contractor, Iraq, Afganistan, LOGCAP, operation.... , Tanker, Hazmat, CDL, convoy, etc.).

If you can get with this company they pay almost as well as MBI. No companys insurance beats MBI's.

    Good Luck

I started a job driving a pneumatic trailer this week, hauling fly ash and dry cement for the oil rigs. I did 70 hours in 4 days lmao, but I love it so far.

    Purevil,

What is the hourly pay? What is the name of your company and experience required to drive for your company? Thanks and have a great weekend! JT

They start you at $20/h time 1/2 after 40 and +$2 for night runs. They will take you just out of Driving school most of the time. They are Called OSM (on site Maintance) in Buelah, ND... They dont have a website so dont bother looking, Iam talking to them now about just having me build one for them. They dont pay any predium or anything like that, they have some studio apartments for $650/m and your are pretty much on call 24/7. They are pretty fair and good people to work with and a great place to get some xp. You need a Class A with Doubles. They are kinda short handed right now too so would prolly be a good time to call, they also might need a mechanic the old one got a better offer and left, but he did give them 30 day notice so he didnt really leave with any ill will.
