Stevens transport only hires student drivers with no experience, so if you go there they will treat you like a student driver and be ready to go out with your trainer and make only .26 cents a mile.

You had to go out with a trainer? What was their justification?

Yeah . . . er.....Rocky, . . . they are a training company. An ounce of research tells you that. Their website tells you what you just said.

One of the reasons that experienced drivers end up with a training company is they have left the industry for more than 2 years. This industry is run by the insurance companies anymore. Unless the carrier is self insured (all training companies are) they cannot hire a driver that cannot prove experience over the last two years.
So they are relegated to the status of 'rookie' all over again.
    Sounds corny, but it's true.

Everett and Rif Raf McQ Thank this.

Not really the industries fault when there are so many people using the jackpot justice system. If you decided to come back into the industry, you have to pay your dues to get back in. Reality bites.
