Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I would strongly suggest staying away from FFE engineering, they will promise to pay relocation and promise you a job, even send you a letter promising employment upon arrival. Truth is, You'll get there, they will tell you all positions have been filled and kick you out the door (even after a road test, physical and drug test). So unless you want to end up relocated and jobless, look elsewhere.mje Thanks this.

Looks like she's back at it. Thanks for the head's up. You saved me an unnecessary phone call.
mje Thanks this. -
Yes she is a recruiter, She is all over Craigslist. I can almost peg her ads by the title without going into it, she is making money on the peeps she sends to these companies. I'm not sure if she makes it at hire or just the inquiries, she told me once while I was thinking of going to the oil fields that she could guarantee me a job down there, well I got down there and no job... Go figure right?mje Thanks this.

Thank God, for google. I just entered the number to see what it was all about, and landed here, lol. -
People looking at relocating to midland Odessa for a job nerd to do their homework. There is a huge boom going on there, and you can find jobs that pay 20 per hr easy with all the overtime you stand. What you can't find is a place to live. Rentals, RV spots, houses, etc, are crazy.
-
This is a gross exaggeration. Anyone can find a place to live the same day they get here, it's just a bit more pricey than they might like. Rest assured though, no one is going homeless in this area unless they want to be.
