Husband is currently working for CR England, they have the schooling and then you can lease a demo truck for 6 mo after training. It might let you see what it is all about in the trucking world. It takes quite a few miles to pay just the payment; the truck he now has is costing $735.00 per week with the $47.00 permit fee. There are other companies who lease also so check them out before you take the plunge into unknown waters.
Do I have to buy a trailer with my truck?

the way it works is you commit to $85,000 then work like a Jackal escaping the river of styx trying to pay for it ~ if you do congratulate yourself

If you have to ask.
Dont buy either.
Get some training and a FEW years company driver expirence FIRST. -
Work as a company driver first to see if you even like doing it. The real world isn't truck school or anything like it. If your going to take the plunge into this lake, maybe you should get your feet wet first. Just sayin. You would be in a bad position if you got out on the road after a big purchase just to realize that you don't like what your doing. There are a lot of fees and permits, remember this is one of the most regulated industries out there and it appears you have no clue what your doing yet if you need to ask a question like that.
I am not trying to be mean but 5 minutes of research could get you that answer. I think if you were to buy a rig and jump in head first you would be crazy and only setting yourself up for failure. Save your money and get your feet wet. See how this all works and maybe you will be able to buy a rig down the road and be successful. -
I don't know whats worse the fact that you even need to ask this question in the first place or the fact you asked this question already in another forum.
