Jobs in ND Oil Patch

Can any drivers give any opinions or inside scoop on Badlands Power fuels? I am currently in Stanley working for a company out of Tioga hauling water. I have my hazmat and want to haul crude. The company I am with now is horrible. They have zero work and people are leaving in droves wkly. Its scary to see that. I drove up from Palm Beach County Florida and I am starting to think it was all for nothing. Spoke to a PF river at a water site and he loved it. But I hear other things not too good about them too. Can anyone help clarify there experience with this company? Ive applied but they are in a freeze cause they have no housing right now. Im looking to get my own just to get hired on with them. I am at a desperate stage now. I dont want to go back to Florida. But my current company has sent me home for 3 days straight. No work! Hell at this point I will go anywhere and drive any type of truck. Just need the work. Please help. Thank you kindly...

Hey Arod3024, does it have to be only crude?? There are other jobs up there that are paying just as good and some pay better!! Contact LightsOutND!! He works for Powerfuels right now and he can fill in the blanks for you!! But if you are really in need of work as you say...then back away from the computer and go pound on some doors!! I find that when I use this approach it works very well for me!! The longest I have ever been without work is around a week!! Got to have a time proven approach when you job search!! Just saying....

I gotcha.. I just got sent home by my company again and wanted to see whats out there.... At this point I will haul water, oil, sand, whatever... Just want to work. Most company office workers are off on Saturday so Im online looking for advice. But I will start fresh on Monday Morning. Pounding on doors. Thanks for the heads up.

 

Hey Arod3024, did you see PureEvil's last post?? The job is in Beulah and it looks like they are needing peeps there!! Ask him for a phone number and see what's up?? I was wondering what internet service are you using?? I am looking for something that I can use in my trailer instead of hanging out in a hotspot area!!

 

Iam currently tethering my cell phone to use internet. Its not that great though. Comes in and out. But tethering would be the way to go in this area. Cell service is horrible here. Depending on what ISP you use,, get a usb cable and run it from your cell to your laptop and if your cell has the drivers for it, which most of them do, you will have WiFi service using your cell as a modem. Once you conect, your laptop will recognize the3 drivers from your cell and give you a signal. It will be weak though. But good enough to email and surf the web. Hope this helps you Brother...

Thanks for the info brother that list is dead on!!!! ...I got an update actually. I passed PF background and Ins. Check and they said they will hire me out of Dickinson but I need to provide my own housing. So, I am lookn at Craigslist now for an apt or even a room to rent out temporary but if all else fails, I will sleep in my truck till I get a few checks in and then get a place. either way, Im outta here. Good bye Tioga, Hello Dickinson.... I gotta get out of this company Im with now. They have ZERO work and I think they are folding out here...
