Then you'd be about right on par then at about 0.98 maybe slightly more at the 10% deadhead

Actually, about .97/mile since 10% paid at .90 cpm for deadhead. That is paid deadhead of course. And as far as miles, I agree many 1800-1900 mile weeks at ACT. Seems like they want to average you out at about 2200 a week. Just about everyone from my start class left because of low miles/money. If RTI has miles, it might be a better deal.

RTI has a great lease program and they give you lots of miles. My bf is very happy there.

 

It seems at ACT you sit a lot. They don't seem to have enough miles for all the drivers they have.

 

Big Kid...you are the exception at ACT. You get all the miles because you recruit. NO ONE that we knew that started at ACT when my bf did is still there because all they did was sit. And yes, RTI's lease is better. ACT has older trucks and much higher lease amounts. So let's see, older truck, higher lease payment, much fewer miles...hmmm can you see why he wasn't happy?

 

Then why have I recruited 2 people from RTI that are here now and they make more at ACT? Not just me happy here. Pete3871, black lions, truckerim, mad axe, azcard, peanut butr, and I am sure there are others I am forgetting. A big part of being successful in a small business is the person running the business. 90% of all small businesses fail.
