No you only put on single rails (about 40lbs) and you drag them most of the time. Also when you pick them up to put them on its like a squat, and you are only lifting most of the chains off the ground, so its only like 30ish pounds. If you can drag a big bag of rice across the kitchen floor, you can do the chains.

    Everett Thanks this.

Well I had a change of plans. I got on the Kraft dedicated west coast fleet so I will only be picking students up from Fontana now, unless they do not have enough, then Kraft thinks they can get me a load to SLC to get a student.

Good luck Hillbilly. What part of OH? I used to live in the Cleveland area for about 4 years about 5 years ago.

Norwalk, just south of Sandusky and Cedar Point.
I worked in the Cleveland area in Brecksville for 16 plus years til the plant closed down last fall.

"So I was a company driver for about 9 months before leasing. In that nine months I made $15,000 which I don't think is bad for a new driver...."

So hello to all the contributors of this thread. Nice work being done here. I've spent the time to read all pages and most entries from pgs 1-47.. All questions have been answered thus far.. except now I'm thrown a bit. I'm reeeeallly hoping you meant $25k in 9 months and not $15.. Could you confirm typo - or no typo?

Thanks to everyone on here. Class act thread.
    Sincerely
    Central Wannabe
