Lawrence Trans offered me this load out of Celina OH ( Dead head 74 miles) with total miles to a lower market in Cloverdale VA for $850. It is also a 44k load and on a hilly road.
Ridiculous rates

Elgin,Il to Hattiesburg,MS broker says its 863 on the loaded miles. picks today drops tomorrow b4 noon. Rate 1350. I said you do realize that most states have speed limits right and that it is 2:00 central time and he was right. Do you want it i was like sure for 2200 and thats cutting you a deal because I am not charging you the expideted rate. He hung up on me? I guess he is not sending the rate confirmation over!

Sounds like you need a dispatcher, I would offer, but I dont want them redirecting my phones afterwards...losttrucker Thanks this.

Schneider listed this load from Greenville OH to Swedesboro NJ about 600 miles all together. I called them and they said about $1200 . Contract rate shows about $ 1500 and the the load is worth doing for at least $1800, because they will be offering a very low rate out of NJ. I do not believe any one can afford to do this load and they will get to move this load probably for a market price close to $1700. But here is my thought my phone calls are answered by some kind of low life folks who do not have any class and spirit in them, and no matter which broker I call it is allways the same kind of voice. Also whenever I call the rate is either too low like the one I have mentioned in here or these puncks will say there is an additional stop in it, even though the load is listed clearly with 1 pick and 1 drop and no touch. My question is who picks up this load from them please post it here Ref # GY 13107 Schneider load for today 07/25/2012

Thats why I think it is not possible to go to work with these low life clowns blocking my phone calls. I have been here in Dayton OH for a week and a half and not been able to book a reasonable load out of here going North East. If some one with class like our government were to go after some simple as truck driver frist they will evaluate wheather it is fair to the TAX payers to just fool around and go after a common person.

Nick at TQL ext 1252, says they only have $1300 in the load and we are paying a whopping $1200 on it. Load from Monroe OH to Wilmington DE about 550 loaded miles and about 50 dead head. Contract rate on this lane shows about $2.70/mile and Market calls for $3.0/mile also it is a full load with appointment BS. Appointments would 'nt be so bad if I was to get unloaded by a regular doc worker. Usually I have to wait for a pecial goofy person to get there and unload me, who does't appear to have any experties about doc work and no spirit or class.

$2.00/mi to the northeast is horsecrap.
I just had TQL screw me on the first ever load I tried booking with them. Agreed to a rate ($1.80/mi coming out of the northeast on a frozen load, not great, but it pays), send in the packet, etc. Call the agent back and am told the load got pulled. No other loads in my area. Just wasted a good hour dealing with them for nothing. Knew TQL was a joke, but finally succumbed to calling them. -
That, and Big Trucking...
with which they are buying fuel for approx. 15%-35% less than the sign price ..
....use the lowest cost recaps....
....paying their "new" or Inexperienced" drivers $.15/mile...
....will take it to reposition their trucks around the country...BigBadBill Thanks this.
