It was offered at $5200. I think Red's $11K mentioned above would have been right in line if not a darn good price for the shipper, given the expedited nature of the freight. Not something I'd have bid on either, but I'm wondering who if anyone actually moved it for that rate.

Nothing less that $7000 minimum. Closer you can get to $8500-9000 the better off you are.
And then it really depends on where in OR you are going.
And no I didn't read two pages of comments either. -
Doesn't OR require an annual or 10 day permit to even roll into their state?

yop..........
My maiden voyage is coming out of Tacoma WA area.
Good luck with that load. -
To fuel in Oregon you need a PUC number also unless you want to give them your right doo dad and first child.

That's the idea. We're not talking about a lollygag across the country trip anyone can do. They want it there right now, to and from places I don't go because of the hassles and expense. I'm sure there's a mega with a team standing by at the lobstah bah waiting to jump on that load for $5,200.
Funny thing about those quotes that knock someone's head off. Sometimes they still bite. Yesterday just after lunch I posted one of my trucks up to go "anywhere east of I-35 and south of NY, not FL." Exactly like that. Next thing I get is my phone blowing up with FL runs! (sigh). Long story short, I ended up quoting one at $3.25/mi and dam if he didn't send it over.windsmith Thanks this. -
you would think windsmith would have enough to do without looking at loads he doesn't even wanna bid on
maybe all his cameras are tired of I95aiwiron Thanks this. -

I post my truck same way in that area (as you mentioned) and that market is very hot. Alarms go crazy but the trash-e-aala blocking my phone calls and its own low life con-artist calling once or twice a day for a load at $1.25/mile ging to Florida. In my opinion, no white guy or company write these clowns on their pee pee, for crying out loud, thats when the trash calls me with that rate and beggs them, to let us take this load over (or my be some time threat them, who knows), we promise we will abuse him and make you more profit. Thats why I came up with that name trash-e-aala, because trash speaks for itself. Here is story below......
